Why is it so hard to change their constitutions and policies to include the simple clause of ‘Zero Tolerance to Lateral Violence & Racism’?

As I move around this country the message is clear in telling me and showing me that organisations are very slow at acting on behalf of their communities to outlaw Lateral Violence.

Why is it so hard to change their constitutions and policies to include the simple clause of ‘Zero Tolerance to Lateral Violence & Racism’?

I am sure it does not take as long to change things such as increases to salaries or purchasing of new vehicles.

Everyone needs a good dose of Lateral Love and a the empowerment to take a strong stance with the determination to do something about it today. Write letters to your committees, challenge why things are getting worse for our people instead of improving.

We are facing more stressors now than ever before, causing an increase in depression and mental health issues leading to the unacceptably high rates of attempted and successful suicides in our communities and families. Let us not focus on what the Government continues not to do, this is about what we are not doing to create a shift in consciousness for our own people.
