“Proper community control in all Aboriginal Organisations is needed. Too many of our old people are suffering because control freaks are playing god. Bring back true democracy and practice proper governance so that all our peoples get a fair share of the resources. People have died as a result of being refused help from Organisations who are getting monies from the government to provide services and support to ‘ALL’ Aboriginal and Islanders including the Torres Straits peoples.” ~ Brian Butler

“The time is always right to do what is right.” ~ Martin Luther King Jr
The issue i have with this is that property governance may be a contradiction being that anytime we place “rulers” or any authoritative figure in place, there seems to be the time to indulge in power and egotism. The lines of love and respect become invisible. Organized government affiliations are the root example of poor and heinous practices in the first place. However, i do understand having rules, the powers which to reinforce rules with extreme and harsh powers are unnecessary. As Tolstoy would say-it’s about undoing the government.
That word is suppose to be proper, not property!
