Constitutional Recognition of Aboriginal Peoples in South Australia will provide constitutional recognition of Aboriginal peoples as the First Peoples of South Australia.
The South Australian Government has established an Advisory Panel to seek community views about the options for achieving constitutional recognition.
This is a process of respect and recognition, not creation of rights. The Panel seeks community views about the State Government’s proposals and advising the Government on the form and wording of an amendment.
